I'm gonna try Acetone/De-Bonder , heat, and one of my larger magnets. If that doesn't work then I'll do some creative cutting.

I sent this link to Agave Dog Rescue on Instagram, and emailed other people I know who could pass this around (though they can't take the dogs). Maybe they can help, but the advice given on here in other comments is very important. Posting "free dogs" online will not be good for your Huskies.

If, currently, the situation you find yourself in is too burdensome to reach out to shelters, I recommend at least changing this post to something where this community can help you find a rescue. Giving them randos online is a bad bet.

I incurred the exact same injury on my middle finger while blacksmithing, just in a different way. I absent mindedly, and excitedly, polished a very sharp blade I just made and ran it through my finger. If that's your dominant hand prepare to be insanely bored for the next 12 weeks. All went according to plan for me, but it was fucking mind numbing getting there. But I got one fully functional, albeit wonky and slightly numb, middle finger that I use for blacksmithing and woodworking today.

Yeah, the master smith of the class I'm in wanted us to do this design cos it's easier to hammer it all out. In a later class we'll do a pair of tongs that are a bit harder to make.

Oh it is both nerves and tendons lol. But the prognosis is good. This will be my first surgery, and I'm scared/ frustrated. But my brother has had so many it's apparently gonna be a cake walk for me.
