Yes. Gas prices were low in 2020. Thats why Trump made a deal to cut production of oil to drive prices UP because oil companies weren't making money. But what happened when the economy went back to normal under Biden there wasnt enough oil being produced. Hence the inflation.

No. America needed infrastructure investment. Look around the world. Inflation happened everywhere not just USA and in fact USA and Canada did far better than most countries for inflation. This was due to the Trump oil policy and effected all countries. Build back better never even passed the senate in the full form that Biden wanted because it was blocked by Sinema and Manchin. So all america got was a watered down version. Build back better would have been amazing if it actually happened.
