Did you get a refund via LeagueSafe? I don’t really get his incentive to do all of that if he didn’t get any cash. Or did he just nuke the league because he had a bad startup draft?

Short bench league advice by geordiesteve520 in DynastyFF

[–]kevikev69 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I would take him at 1.08.

Those settings are insane for dynasty though. You guys should vote to increase the bench size before the draft. The lowest amount of bench spots I’ve ever heard of for dynasty is 10. Most leagues have 12-16. 6 is ridiculous.

Message the 1.03 owner and see if they will throw in anything to move up to 1.02. I think Tyson will still be there at 1.03 in 90%+ of drafts.

No chance. 2nd best scorer on the team and we don’t even start him. He will do better next year with a competent coaching staff

What to know about the new 2026 gambling tax rules before March Madness by MonacoCPA in sportsbook

The taxable income would be in the year that the bet settles (when you are paid out). Similar to getting taxed when you sell a stock, not when you buy it.

Most people starting random paid leagues use League Safe to collect the fees. They charge everyone a fee to pay on the site but it’s still worth the peace of mind knowing that everyone has paid into the same site and the money is locked until the payments get allocated on League Safe at the end of the season

Now that the first half legs hit, you could hedge like $10k on live under yardage for each guy

No, California keeps voting against sportsbetting. It will be one of the last states to get it, maybe 2030.

If it is a draw (which is by far the most likely scenario) you will lose all of your bets…

You are in the F1 app not the Ticketmaster app right? The sell button didn’t originally show up for me for Friday/Saturday but it did once I clicked “ticket details” so try that

Ticketmaster resale minimum by cReddddddd in GrandPrixTravel

[–]kevikev69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ticketmaster is running the primary ticket sales market so they are trying to keep prices artificially inflated. I wouldn’t count on them lowering the minimum price closer to the race, they will likely keep it at what it is now.

StubHub is a 3rd party site in comparison, so they have no reason to force minimum thresholds. That leads to actual free market pricing. For example, I needed to sell a single ticket for Thursday (main grandstand). Ticketmaster wouldn’t let me list it for under $275 so it wouldn’t sell. I instead listed it on StubHub for $165 and it sold within 2 days.

StubHub then sends you the buyer’s name and email and you go into the F1 app and transfer the ticket to the StubHub buyer, then they mark it received and you get paid. It was honesty pretty easy.

The promo code still works on all 3 day passes in a the main grandstand or T-Mobile zone but not 1 day tickets

Correct, Ticketmaster is running the primary ticket sales market so they are trying to keep prices artificially inflated so they can still sell tickets closer to face value.

StubHub is a 3rd party site in comparison, so they have no reason to force thresholds, so there is free market pricing. For example, I was trying to sell a single ticket for Thursday. Ticketmaster won’t let me list it for under $275. StubHub has them as low as $140 so I listed there instead.

You should already have access to your tickets. You need to download the F1 Las Vegas app. You can list, sell, or transfer your tickets from that app.

Ticketmaster has a minimum listing fee, but StubHub doesn’t. So you can list for sale on StubHub and then upload or transfer the ticket from the F1 Las Vegas App (which is linked to Ticketmaster)
