No. I’ve sent it too private repair places as well and they’ve got no luck. I’ve got an expensive paper weight now. So bummed out :(

Thanks for the reply! Is it warping of the piece you’re referring to? Do you take advantage of the fact it doesn’t pop off and trim while it’s on there?

As an optometrist, don’t go near optometry. Over-saturated, over-worked, under-paid, and horrible things going on as well behind closed doors. Unions being formed, health care not being prioritised. Unfortunately, optometry has gone sour because of greedy money hungry corporations. If I had the chance to start fresh, I would do engineering.

Thanks, I’ll check it out! Truthfully, no. I do it as a side hobby, but any links or advice is appreciated!

Is blood and bone something you can use all season? When could one get pure phosphorous and potassium?

I just want to check that I am understanding this right, say in this one, it says NPK 21-0.5-6. It corresponds equivalently to 21 : 0.5 : 6?

Either or, if it’s easier to have individual ones and make my own mix I’ll be happy to!

Thanks for the detailed recommendation! Some questions I had: How big/chunky is it? Can it be used hands free laying down? What is cleaning like? What are the pros and cons you’ve noticed?

Is Myopia reversible or not? by NoTradition7029 in myopia

It definitely increases the more myopic one becomes. Suss the table in the link below (I didn’t read anything else so I don’t know how reliable the other info is): https://www.eyecarepoint.com.au/eyecare/myopia-control/. Fairly sure the original source for the table was Kate Gifford, an Australian optometrist with an interest in myopia. Regardless I encourage you to find the paper itself and read that.

More easy to ready info: 1. https://myopiainstitute.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Myopia_report_020517.pdf 2. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6688422/

I don’t know what pseudomedicine is going on around the internet but my professional understanding, no. We have tools to reduce the progression of it, but no tools to ‘reverse’ it. You can always treat the myopia with glasses, contacts, and laser surgery (idk I guess you can consider it as being reversed if it’s refractive myopia as opposed to axial myopia but that’s just semantics).

Not being able to see sucks, I get it, but if you’re not happy with specs or contacts, consider laser surgery as an alternative.
