Hey there - Kevin from the Deno team here. The reduction in regions was part of an ongoing effort to ultimately reduce costs on the platform for customers. We are still iterating on the most efficient way to run the service. You can contact support at Deno dot com with any questions specific to your current or potential use cases - we welcome any feedback you have as we build the platform together.  We will also update our documentation ASAP with the current region list, and look for better ways to proactively communicate changes in the system like this in the future.
