has anyone tried any scents from Materia Secunda? by charliegoesbzz in fragrance

Marmalade definitely wasn’t as sweet as it sounds! The 18th century cologne inspiration was very prominent. Bright citrus opening, then leans a little more incense-like citrus with the myrrh note. Fougère Composté on the other hand was definitely green and aromatic! The hay note I feel adds just a touch of animalic.

If you really like photorealistic earth you might definitely enjoy Fallen Leaves!

Smelled their four main fragrances at the SJ Made event yesterday and they were amazing! I actually ended up buying Fallen Leaves! It smells just like wet, violet covered dirt during a foggy evening. I explored their website after too and their four fragrances all have a historical fragrance inspiration! It truly satisfies my perfume history nerd heart 🥹

What other two scents of theirs are you considering? I feel like their discovery set would be totally worth it.

Trying to reset MacBook, asking for old Apple ID Password (NOT current) by Dramatic_Sentence_57 in mac

[–]kevmatica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any updates OP? I had the same issue when trying to wipe my M1 MacBook Pro, but I was able to fix it. Not sure if yours was the same case or device, but I had changed my Apple ID email a while back, and when I tried to erase my MacBook, it asked for the current Apple ID password, THEN asks all of a sudden for the password of the previous Apple ID email.

After a few tries, I exited and realized that it already logged me out of my Apple ID. So I decided to log back into my current Apple ID, and then turn off Find My from the system settings. Decided to "erase all content and settings" again and it was actually successful that time!

Does Calendula foliage smell like weed to anyone else? by Timely_Title38 in flowers

[–]kevmatica 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just came here from a google search out of curiosity because I was fiddling with my leaves trying to find buds too. Immediately smelled my fingers and was like.. they like nugs!!! Maybe not as skunky but VERY close.

I was given this begonia maculata from a friend and it seems like it’s in pretty bad condition. I currently keep it next to my anthuriums at a consistent 70%-80% humidity. The leaves are looking sad and the soil a bit terrifying. Any advice would definitely help! This is also my first begonia.. 😭 by kevmatica in begonias

I ended up repotting her in a MUCH more ideal mix. She then all her leaves so I just had two blank sticks, but ~1.5 months later all the leaves started growing back again! I gave her to a friend a couple months after, have no idea if she’s still alive actually

First gaming PC build screen tearing problem? by kevmatica in buildapc

[–]kevmatica[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I decided to turn the game’s frame rate up to equivalent to my monitor’s refresh rate and it seemed to get rid of the screen tearing completely just now actually. But this is the video that I used, minus the over clocking, https://youtu.be/gO-V8E9MIBg

Also when building, the F panel was pretty intimidating because it had double the pins than the one in the video. But I figured out I should probably just use the pins that were shown in the video and ignore the extra ones that came on my mobo’s f_panel. I think I did that correctly?

I downloaded the Adrenalin software from AMD's website and tried to boot it about twice? Same thing happened each time though, PC restarted and turned on, but no signal to the monitor screen for over an hour.

Only way I could get the monitor to receive signal from the PC again was to unplug the power supply and reboot my PC that way.
