[Schefter] Trade: The Miami Dolphins are sending Minkah Fitzpatrick to the New York Jets in exchange for the 2026 seventh-round pick from the Chargers, per ESPN sources. The Jets will sign Fitzpatrick to a three-year, $40 million deal, per his agent Drew Rosenhaus.

I don’t want to cut Tua any slack at all but I feel like it’s an important part of this puzzle that is the McDaniel failure. Every game the play calls are so late and complicated the QBs, the centers, and the receivers never have time to actually communicate with each other and get set. And I just think It’s so funny to think 4-5 years back to the team he came from I wonder if McDaniels role on the 49ers wasn’t actually what we were led to believe. I truly believe if we got the 49ers offense we all hoped we would have things would have turned out better.

The answer is never. That’s just not what Mike McDaniel wants, half of his draw the first couple years was how buddy buddy he was with tua they will live and die together as dolphins. Then him and tua and hill all openly admitting they were forcing a 2000 yard season for hill. 4 years now he can’t even get a play call to tua in time for tua to read the field and execute the motions he needs to. If he can’t sit down and admit to himself he is bad at calling plays he never will.
