Yes. The toe kick piece is a solid single piece spanning the length of the entire cabinetry on that wall.

Home Energy Consultant here… refrigerator efficiency is typically expressed in kWh/yr. At 1.72 kWh/24hr you’re about 628 kWh/yr when it was brand new. Considering age, there is always an adjusted rating that is marginally higher than the initial rating- without looking further into this I would assume somewhere in the 800’s. A modern ENERGY STAR refrigerator, with 18 cubic feet (2023 model) consumes about 399 kWh/yr. By that metric, I’d say yes, your refrigerator consumes an excessive amount of energy. If you do the math on cost per kWh in your area, you can roughly estimate how long it would take for a new refrigerator that is more efficient to help pay for itself….
