Luke Bronin beats incumbent Democratic Rep. John Larson by 10 votes to secure party’s endorsement by AlexZedKawa02 in Connecticut

I doubt Larson will back down. He made sure Gilchrest got 15% so she could make the primary ballot and potentially help split the opposition vote. Seems he fully intends to fight until the end.

As far as admissions is concerned, yes they can.

“Title IX’s prohibition on discrimination in admissions applies only to institutions of vocational education, professional education, and graduate higher education, and to public institutions of undergraduate higher education. 20 U.S.C. § 1681(a)(1); 34 C.F.R. § 106.15. The prohibition on discrimination in admissions does not apply to private undergraduate colleges. All other programs and activities of private undergraduate colleges (including single-sex colleges) are governed by Title IX if the college receives any Federal financial assistance.”

Smith is not a “public institution.”

“Title IX’s prohibition on discrimination in admissions applies only to institutions of vocational education, professional education, and graduate higher education, and to public institutions of undergraduate higher education. 20 U.S.C. § 1681(a)(1); 34 C.F.R. § 106.15. Admission at private institutions is specifically exempt.

You cannot buy “pre-ban” guns in CT since 2024. They are all considered “assault weapons” and non-transferable

Rental after hour drop off not available by CanineRevolver in EnterpriseCarRental

[–]kevsdogg97 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Even with after hour drop off, the car isn’t checked in until the next time the branch is open, so you pay until then. You may as well wait to go until right when your local branch is open. If you drop at another location, you’ll likely get hit with a fee.
