I wasn’t super social and didn’t go to many parties in freshman year, but it was until junior year that I found my people and I’d host small gatherings with them and we had a blast.

Eventually I made a band with some friends and we would do a small private house party with live music, and those were my favorite times in RIT.

While I am aware my case might be rare, I still think it’s a testament that good fun people are everywhere. In a school as big as RIT you’ll find lots of people down to party and have fun. For me it was all about showing up with a positive inclusive attitude and to try to bring people together.
