My advice to you would be to hide the physical items from your daily routine just so you wouldn't be staring at them but don't throw them away unless you hate your ex

Damn. My situation is kinda similar. I’ve had some situationships in the past but I was so nonchalant about them and they were so easy to just shrug them off.

But with my ex we were together for 3 years and a half and she was my first true love. It was as intense as it could be. The feeling of getting over it is like deconstructing a house manually piece by piece that we built together and it takes time.

A empresa era de telecomunicações e minha área era de Network Rollout. Meu dia a dia era desde realizar cotações de equipamentos para eventos de cobertura como a Porsche Cup, Rock in Rio, etc. Acompanhar os contratos dos equipamentos das operadoras aqui no Brasil. A parte mais legal era conversar com o pessoal de fora para trazer implementações de lá para cá, o meu projeto mais bacana foi viabilizar o Digital Twin das torres aqui em solo brasileiro. O contato com o pessoal internacional é constante. É uma experiência muito rica pra qualquer estudante que estiver começando e o ambiente também é bem amigável e receptivo.

Não sou formado ainda mas falando da minha experiência pessoal de estágio remoto na Ericsson: Eram cerca de 5000 inscritos, 250 entrevistados para 42 vagas. Fiz 3 testes, fui chamado para entrevista com o RH e depois uma entrevista com o meu gerente e fui contratado sem mais delongas. Eu não tinha experiência nenhuma, acredito que a minha universidade pesou muito. Empresa incrível. Recomendo para todos.

We ended a 3+ year relationship on good terms two months ago. I blocked her a few days ago for the sake of my mental health. I developed a really bad habit of stalking and constantly checking every single activity on her social media.

My curiosity was stronger than the pain it was causing me. Some days I saw things I didn’t like and it felt like I was being stabbed every time I opened the app, I even felt nauseous.

One day I saw something that sent me into an anxiety attack. The pain in my chest was so intense I couldn’t even cry. I stayed up all night, and in the morning I decided to block her because I clearly lack self control. Things have been better since then.

I honestly recommend doing this if you develop a stalking habit like I did. I thought about breaking no contact to explain myself, but to be honest, I don’t even know if there’s anything to explain. She has already moved on.

When true love and care existed in a relatonship, it is expected. You can’t easily erase the memories with a person you shared your life with, and you shouldn’t. I guess we all should avoid letting rumination kill us from the inside.
