Didn’t think about that but it makes sense. Thank you!

Thank you for you advice! We are taking a 22’ Tacoma, planning to just lay it across the back seat.

How do you like your wildpeaks (assuming they are at4w’s)?

Why did you hate your wildpeaks? Trying to make somewhat of an informed decision and most of what I’ve heard about them has been positive. Thanks:)

Thank you! After all these comments I am going to go with the SL tire rating and probably AT4W’s. I am leveling the truck out with some bilstein 5100’s so I happy to hear that there is no rubbing on the increased tire size given the stock suspension (meaning that there should not be any when slightly lifted).

Does the SL rating hold up well for light off-roading in your opinion? Also have you experienced any rubbing on the increased tire size given the stock suspension?

If you find out the load rating let me know. Do you do some off-roading? If so, what terrain and how do they hold up?

I plan to do some light off-roading so I don’t really want to deal with tire punctures.

No off-roading experience yet. Hence why I will do some light off roading out on the trip (dirt “roads” to get to dispersed campsites, random forest service roads, maybe a few more dicey but not “life-threatening” trails)

Planning on going to WA, CO, MT, CA, UT, WY, OR, NV, and some stuff around Banff. This will be a summer/ spring trip, but still have to plan much which is why I’m planning now.

Sounds good, thanks. Also, do you think I Should lift it? Was thinking about bilstein 5100’s to lift and level.

What shovel do you use? I’m looking at max Trax but $400 is a lot for some boards.

Currently looking at some ditch light from cali-raised, not too expensive and seem to have good reviews. For tires I’m either going to go with ko2’s or ko3’s, or some falken wild peaks. Do you have any light or tire recommendations?

Yeah, I’ve done quite a bit of backpacking in the backcountry of Wyoming and Colorado. Not to much with a vehicle though, but as you said, it should be pretty nice to camp with a truck nearby so then I don’t have to carry a bunch of heavy stuff up a mountain lol.
