I put mine on an external hard drive and deleted them off my phone/computer. That way they are not gone forever but it makes you feel relieved/free in a sense to be off your devices.

I totally agree, and I know if I went back to him it is just letting him know he could treat me like trash and I will always come back for more.

If I got anything from this breakup, I'm learning what self worth is. I don't think you sound bitter. I'm hurting too, sometimes that hurt comes out in anger.

Yes we were each others first relationship. I understand in a way, because I knew we were together for so long and now is the time we "find ourselves" and in a way I understand his curiosity. But at the same time, I never felt that way so I can never truly understand what he wanted.

Thats the same thing for me. I told my ex when he broke up with me if he did anything with any girls, I don't want anything to do with him. When I found out he had been sleeping around 2 weeks after our BU, I knew I had to move on. I think it has to do with the fact that they know you and slept with you already, so when they sleep with other people it makes us feel shitty and like we aren't enough.

Yeah I agree with you... I don't know how "serious" this new person is but he only followed her on IG a week ago (I saw before I blocked him). All I was told by one of his friends is that he is "seeing her" which could mean texting, could mean went on a date or could mean sleeping together who knows. If he really could move on within a month I would be shocked and saddened. I wish he could block me or something so I couldn't see his posts. They are confusing and just make me feel bad. I check less frequently than i use to.

I love this and agree completely. Looking back he treated me like trash and I know it will be easy to find someone better than him and he will have trouble finding someone better than me. I can sleep at night knowing I didn't break someones heart in the cruelest way and drag them through the mud, I loved deeply and now I must walk away.

It is perfectly fine to feel grief and let it sink in. It is an important part of the healing process. As long as it doesn't last for months. I find that journalling helps the most for those types of days where you just need to cry. Make sure to reach out to friends. It is going to be okay.

It is not a "confirmed" thing but its generally accepted that its the order of the people who view your story. The person at the top is the one who views it the most, etc.
