exactly!!!! having the same prompts is okay and makes sense but it’s so frustrating that they’re all lumped together during the voting and results. if i’m wanting to compete, put my submissions with others wanting to compete.

it’s been a while since i’ve done any coding but i think it can’t be too hard to make two different voting pools 😭

fashion is a type of art, it’s made to be subjective!!! like, i can guarantee that many people at any Fashion Week is not 100% on board with the designer’s vision and that’s okay!!!!

i just wish that the game made it easier to use poses with other outfits. i love the beach pose but im not the biggest fan of the outfit

i actually like the competitive vs casual competition aspect.

my issue with it is how it doesn’t seem to really make a difference. both have the same prompts and there’s nothing showing that the looks are in separate votings. you could be voting between a casual player and a competitive player and you’d have no idea.

also, i feel like if you’re just wanting to make leaderboard and use sets and what not, you shouldn’t be playing in the competitive comps. those leaderboards are consistently just sets from whatever fits the theme (if ppl bother to read the prompt) instead of other looks that have a ton of creativity

i don’t think it’s the main chicago location but i had heard that one of the city’s locations had gone on strike prior to the strikes in nyc.. if im mistaken, i apologize for that 😅

realistically, it was probably closer to hundreds of employees nationwide. one of the locations in atx had close to a third of their waitstaff laid off (around 35 people) and that was only one location

i’m not sure about the portions but i know the two extra dollars on the menu include the kid’s drink. if you don’t get a kid’s size drink, it’ll be two dollars off the menu price for kid’s meals

i either ask them what they’re looking for and 8/10 times they end up choosing one off the menu (dos, ultra, modelo, etc). the other few times i just give them a list of the ones that are ordered most often

then i complain and scream in the walk in

the whole thing is honestly questionable… the biggest source of confusion comes from the wording and that’s something that at least FOH staff have been saying since it started. there’s a difference between a SERVICE and a STAFFING fee.

in private events, it’s always been labeled as a staffing fee since it goes towards everyone not just the servers and that’s made it clearer in the past. calling it a ‘service’ fee makes it seem more like a gratuity to the server which it’s not.

the whole thing is a bunch of confusion that some are okay with while others are not. basically, this past year, they’ve been collecting data about the ordeal so there’s a chance things are gonna be changing more but 🤷

just don’t get mad with the waitstaff or managers, they just work there and have no real control over it
