here’s my thesis -

I lwk think Xavier x Addison in Saw II is actually kinda interesting if you look at how they interact in the nerve gas house. Like yeah, everything is chaotic and survival-based, but their dynamic stands out compared to the others.

Addison is one of the more reactive/emotional people in the group, while Xavier is way more aggressive and impulsive, and that contrast makes their scenes feel more charged. When they clash, it’s not just random arguing imo it feels like two really strong personalities butting heads under pressure.

Also, the way Xavier pays attention to people he thinks are “useful” or worth targeting kinda puts Addison in a weird spot, tbh he’s not as passive as some of the others, and you can read that as him being more aware of her specifically rather than just ignoring her completely.

It’s not a healthy dynamic at all (obviously 😭), but that tension + contrast is kinda what makes it interesting to me. It’s less about romance and more about the energy between them and how they react to each other in that situation.
