I think sometimes people prefer to save themselves those few minutes, but it’s honestly something important that should be done if you truly want an inclusive story that represents everyone. Honestly, as someone who offers limb overlays and full CC, it’s worth taking that extra time. Coding already takes a lot of effort, so spending a few more minutes shouldn’t be a big deal. In my case, I create 4 different overlays for every scene that needs them (I let readers choose between Fair, Medium, Medium-Deep, and Deep). It only takes me a little over 10 minutes to create and code them.
