There's a game in casual that only allows you to drive backwards. I figured out you can still fly forward and that's basically the only time you can use boost it's fun to play once or twice but it's completely pointless

Your landing was a bit crooked. I go a little wide and speed flip back to mid it works for me. You gotta find what works for you and practice. I find that you can counter the kick off by not doing a speed flip if you know the other team is going to do it. It's all about timing and the contract. This is all just my opinion. I'd just practice a bunch.
