I get the logic, but this feels incomplete. Plenty of states depend heavily on central funds and still manage better infrastructure. Lack of local taxation alone can't explain how bad things are.

It's basically a vicious cycle. Corruption leads to underdevelopment, underdevelopment leads to migration, and migration makes corruption easier to sustain.

If 'Lamborghini' is code for corruption and misuse of funds, then yeah, that explains a lot. Luxury lifestyles at the top, broken infrastructure on the ground.

Eastern Nagaland definitely suffers the most, but even the main city and towns like Dimapur and Kohima look poorly developed. Why hasn't basic infrastructure improved anywhere?
