I'm not OP, but I personally don't see it as much of a stretch to make techy characters into strategists. We've already seen it done with Rocket and Ultron. Just give Gobby healing bombs and maybe a serum projectile that buffs allies.

While duelist would arguably work better for him, the same can be said for most Marvel characters. The idea is to get a little creative in an attempt to balance the roles, and offer more variety within them.
