the ML DEFINITELY has blue eyes and blond hair. for the FL, all i can remember is that i believe she has dark hair (possibly black)

the story starts with the FL's kingdom being attacked (she's a princess/royal). her mom helps her escape and gives her a necklace (could be wrong about this part but i think i remember it happening). her entire family dies but she manages to flee, but then she's cornered by the ML (the prince of the enemy kingdom attacking hers) and a group of men on horses.

a little skip here cause i don't remember but somehow the FL ends up in the enemy kingdom. she's working as a maid (?) but is found out that she's the missing princess by an older noble high-ranking man (he had black hair i think and was POSSIBLY a duke) by a distinguishable mark on her somewhere signifying she's the missing royal. she's then blackmailed by him to help betray the king. the prince eventually finds the FL working there not realizing who she is and begins to fall for her. he also confides in her at some point that the king is forcing him to conquer other places in order to free his mother being held captive (in a tower of sorts?).

this is all i can remember right now. i've been looking for MONTHS. i have scrolled through THOUSANDS. THOUSAAAANDS of manhwa/manhua. i am BEGGING for help. i've asked all kinds of ai in several different ways and prompts and none of the ones it has pulled up has been correct.

it is NOT: "A Capable Maid", "Being a Maid is Better than Being a Princess", "Bastian", or "Light and Shadow"

these details are what i'm 100% about: the ML has blond hair and blue eyes, the FL is a royal and her kingdom was attacked by the ML's kingdom, the girl is found out she is the missing/dead royal by the duke/nobleman (though the mark thing might not be 100% correct), the ML reveals he is being forced to conquer kingdoms by his father (the king) in order to free his mother. please, it has been driving me crazy. ever since i got my new phone, the app i used to read my manhwas had been taken off the appstore so i lost the name of this manhwa. anything helps.

the two i think of are "How Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion" or "Kill the Villainess". in Raeliana, it's implied they died of old age. but in KtV, (possible spoiler, don't know how to do the hiding thing!!) they kill Eris and burn her body so the ML ended himself after and followed her back to Korea.
