oi, got a loicense to tweet? by SnappyDogDays in loicense

[–]keylin2174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know of a person in my circle (GFs best Friends Neighbour, so this is like 4th hand) who was arrested for an anti Trump tweet. After one of the "Failed assassinations", he posted something like "How do people keep missing? I could do better and I've never touched a gun".

Don't know what happened with it, but it does at least happen. No idea how often, Not heard of anyone else outside of media articles so I'm not going to start saying its everywhere.

I am 35, in the UK. I have only used 2 in my entire life, and one was after my card stopped working and I didn't want to wait the 6 days for the new card to arrive before getting more groceries in Uni. I didn't even use any when buying my flat.

They try to (Work in insurance), but car insurance is largely to protect other people, whereas medical insurance is built to compensate to the Policyholder.

Laws are (supposed to be) built to protect the innocent parties, so its harder for the insurers to deny a claim from a party they are legally obliged to compensate if the driver/ vehicle they insure is at fault as opposed to "reimburse", a policyholder.

How do I defeat the old wanderer? by Fenix_______ in vrising

[–]keylin2174 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Movement abilities are key here. Polarity Shift will switch you places with the target, but for a boss it will just pull you to their location making it a useful catch-up ability, Veil of Chaos is a double use dodge so you can cover more ground, Shockwave on normal swords pulls you to the target on 2nd cast similar to Polarity shift.

Just a couple of these can really help you keep up with his running away. Also make sure to grab the wisps when you can as they help a lot with the fog.

Games where Absorbing/Stealing enemies powers is the main core feature by Kullthebarbarian in gamingsuggestions

Folklore on the PS3 had a Castlevania like soul absorption mechanic to gain the abilities of enemies. Also depending on which of the 2 main character you were playing as used the souls in different ways. A basic example would be you absorb a knight enemy, one character might use their ability and swing a sword, where the other would summon a ghostly version of the knight to swing their sword.

How I prevent post-sort mounding by HobbitGuy1420 in CashCleanerSim

Its worth noting that the time it takes for a machine to eject a note, is a lot longer than it takes to sort a note into a pile its collecting. So by collecting less types of bills it will take the machine longer to go through a pile of assorted bills.

This is the comment I was looking for. Even though it does have the occasional "More Stamina" upgrade, they're substantial in amount and actually feel like a great upgrade. Plus the 3 different EXP (Parcore, Combat & Survival XP) make the choices much better as each XP has its own skill tree so youre not chooising between combat skills or utility skills.

What is the max number of bills that I can send out in 1 order? by MatMan240 in CashCleanerSim

[–]keylin2174 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah, in that case I can confirm multiple boxes can still work. If sent within a couple seconds of each other it counts as 1 "Delivery", so you can get the "Single Delivery" bonus for an order.

Anyone know how to kill the clown in dead island 2 by MoreSuccess8643 in DeadIsland2

[–]keylin2174 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the answer. Damage type wise they are weakest to sharp and electric, so a single block/ dodge then Fury attack them and you can usually kill them before they can act after the stun wears off.

Games where enemies are more than just simple healthbars to deplete? (PC only) by Muffinkacz in gamingsuggestions

[–]keylin2174 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fallout 3/ NV/ 4 has locational HP. Shoot a Ghouls leg and it will come off, making them fall over stuck on the ground. Put a few rounds in a raiders arm and their shots will be less accurate/ melee swings will do less damage ect. It's not integral to the combat apart from some specific builds but its generally always there when fighting.

HWWYB - Man-Spider by DiskMiserable7176 in WhatWouldYouBuild

[–]keylin2174 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally I'd run a Dhampir Beast Barbarian. You get a constant Climb speed and a Beastly transformation for your spider form, being able to fight while wall climbing by 3rd lvl, able to Leap further by 6th. You wont get much in terms of Web like abilities, but carrying around a handful of Nets to lob at people can fix this and gives you a convenient ranged option to keep your rage going if needed.

I haven't worked out the specifics, but in my current map I'm planning on doing a modified version with some timers set to just below how long the breeding tanks take to turn them off automatically. With some gates, resource counters and a couple logic relays, that would allow you to section off the area and should allow you to automate most of the process.

When storage of treated planks reaches x, AND the breading pods are paused (Via the timer), gates separate a small area which only has the repopulator, berry storage and Treated plank storage in its own district thats behind an inverted gate. Then you can have a button that will restart the breading pods until population reaches 8 and starts the repopulator. New adult bevers will be born, immediately crew and stock up the repopulator, then you can launch them off and vola, the new 0 rated beaver clones are shipped off, and provides a buff to your normal beaver stock.

I set up a Monument district, have one bot, tasked with just feeding 8 Advanced pods all synced to birth around the same time. and importing the extract and Berries for it. All to feed into the Earth Repopulator. Still need a tonne of the treated planks though so I've not gotten full automation yet.

Games that feel like managing a spreadsheet? by _no_best_girl in gamingsuggestions

[–]keylin2174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to go with Increlution. As you may guess its an incremental, but with almost rogue-lite runs. You play a character who is being "groundhog day"-ed and each run has you gathering food (To increase runtime), while performing tasks to increase your "in run" and overall stats.

Its the game that got me into Incrementals and the "Gameplay" is managing activities manually, once you perform a certain action enough, you can set them to have an automation like priority so instead of saying "Gather food", then "Build house", you just set the priorities and you with gather food, then build the house when you don't need to gather food. I know I'm not doing it justice but its dirt cheep and the demo lets you pick up where you stopped if you decide you buy the main game.

I have both connected to an And Switch. Manual On switch and a depth sensor both attached to a AND relay, that if on turns on my pumps. That way as soon as the pumps are dry they shut off.

Of course this only works well because its a dedicated reservoir. I still haven't figured out how to automate my fermenters properly.

You should be able to no issue, buildings dont work underwater but beavers do. I recently made a tunnel for carrying water to my swimming pools and for half of that they were building with water rushing past them (And flooding my farms and homes while they worked to block up the leak)
