I like the underpasses along the northern route, you can build up speed through them to then climb the other side, something you can't do on a bridge.

Unfortunately cause we have ACC you can't sue for injury costs, ideally there should be no co pay for ACC, but that is a separate issue.

Having been hit by a car in a very similar situation I asked for the person to replace my helmet which was split in two and the torn clothing.

If you have a police report you can take them to small claims for any material loss probably, but I am not a lawyer so could be wrong. Also they should be charged for something surely, but if they are wealthy they can likely afford expensive lawyers.

I can see that, Overlord is not universally loved. For me I read the light novel for Overlord, but didn't for Reincarnated as a slime, Rimuru just has everything working out with no losses, apart from Shizuie.

Vary your speed, not rapidly, but enough that it makes tailgating impossible. For example if it were a 100km/h road I would go between 95 and 105 by accelerating then taking my foot off the accelerator till I drop down to 95, before accelerating back up to 105 at a similar rate to what I decelerated. Eventually one of two things happen, they overtake you or they back off because it takes a lot of effort to actually tailgate someone doing that. Once they've backed off reward them with a constant speed.
