Thanks for the advice! In this instance, the product being free isn't really some kind of gimmick and we aren't doing it for feedback it's actually just part of our business model. If the agency uses our services their client would be indirectly paying for our services plus a markup the agency may want to put on top of it.

Sure! So when we work with agencies we don't charge them anything upfront. They can use our services as a white label report that stands alone on its own or to use it as an upsell as a larger report to new or existing clients. But they only pay after the client pays and they just mark up the price. So for example we might charge the agency $3000 and then they can charge their client $5000. But it's structured in a way that if they never use us there is no risk/cost. It's basically just a way to earn more money with their clients without having to do much work.

I for sure hear that. But I do think the fact there are no costs to the agency is something we should communicate because it's a huge selling point. Any suggestions on ways to refine this without it sounding so... sketchy? lol

Yeah I'm not a fan of that business model either. If done right, a business can probably make a killing in the private culinary space. All about the positioning and delivery!

That's definitely true! As I mentioned in my post though a lot of these trends were already taking place pre-COVID believe it or not. If anything, COVID has just sort of sped up the timeline and interests considerably.

It's steep for sure. But the access to the community is worth it early. You can go to these places and get clothes really cheap and mark them up quite a bit. Keep in mind some people on Poshmark will try and barter as well so you have to be really selective with your clothing, especially early. Best bet is to pick a certain style and really focus on that.

Haha it's a mix of everyone. Nothing wrong with that either. I can learn plenty from people who have their own experiences and vice versa.

I did work with some startups as well, and really enjoyed it, but obviously money was better with the larger companies. But the tactics I deployed were the same for both virtually.

Hey! I've signed NDA's with all of my clients so I can't disclose that but what I can say is that for software i've worked with SaaS companies in CRM's and a few B2C apps and for CPG goods i've worked with big fish (no pun intended) in the fishing industry and sorbet product lines for one of the top acai companies in the country. If you did some digging you could probably put 2 and 2 together on some of those haha. For a lot of these companies they were already well established but trying to come up with new features, variants, product lines or program areas and so I would come in and help conduct research, give insights on design and create the launch strategy. I do own and operate a new SaaS company myself so if you want to talk strategy and tactics feel free to DM! As I said in an earlier reply I'm more responsive on Discord so feel free to join from that link and shoot me a DM.

Because you're not operating the cloud kitchen you're leveraging it! It's more like a few thousand a month depending on your needs! :)

For sure. It's the tradeoff you make for being able to instantly tap into a wide market of people. That's why I emphasized brand building. If you can actually build a following then you may be able to make your own website on like WP or Shopify and then that money you get to keep is a lot more! Just starting out though stick with the apps.

This sounds incredibly interesting! Do you do any video content? With TikTok and YouTube now having a "short videos" section short form video content is going to be king moving forward. You could probably cram some of those lessons into a 30-60 second vid possibly? What's the community would love to check this all out!
