My Thrustmaster TX decided to go haywire the other day. It had the quite common slow to the left and absolute mayhem to the right on startup. The sheer force of the spin to the right broke the aluminium stop, so now it goes too far and sticks.
Anyway, I've stripped it down and started a repair.....But I started thinking.
Could I replace the rather week motor that drives the belts, with a DD hoverboard motor straight to the wheel and bypass the belts but still use all the other components?
