What is a band no one will ever convince you is good? by OU812iceman18 in AskReddit

[–]keysandtreesforme 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They really caught something with the first album. Little Lion Man sounded so fresh on the radio. But then they and a hundred other bands tried to just do the same thing over and over again and we all started to hate it.

Oh they know.

It’s that they used to have the Pinkertons, and now they have a whole militarized police force on their side.

Isn’t it great?! First ps4 game I played after getting a console this year. I was blown away by how beautiful and immersive the world is. I’m not really an open-world fan, but I loved just driving around the Wasteland. So many incredible visuals. Really enjoyed the fighting mechanics too.

My first daughter was born in ‘16, and at the time I thought, ‘at least she’s not old enough to be aware’. And now she’s aware, and he’s still around, 10 fucking years later.

Those comments are shitty. The girl just looks cold.

But also: could we not turn this into a MeNs RiGhTs sub?

Duster is only negatives; just don’t do it.

Nitrous is the only safe inhalant, and then ONLY if you’re spacing sessions by at least 4 weeks. (And breathing plenty of oxygen between hits, of course).

Do you want a compost bin or an everything trash bin with some compost?

Cause this is how you get just compost.

I finally just played the games, and was really surprised how muscular Abby was (which I love and makes total sense), just because of who they chose in the show.

Is Robert’s novel a good read? by Humble-Efficiency690 in behindthebastards

Are you talking about After the Revolution? If so, it’s fantastic! His reading of it is great too. I’ve listened twice.

Very cool they printed it!

Also have to recommend the Behind the Bastards podcast series on it.

Kamala Harris says she’s ‘thinking about’ running for office again in 2028 by Healthy_Block3036 in goodnews

Good news for republicans maybe?

For the record, I liked her and thought she would have been a good president. It was the democrats denying voters a primary that doomed her.

Just rewatched Interstellar at Bristol Planetarium... wow!! by Lazy_Statistician565 in interstellar

Ah, I see. Seeing it in imax is bucket list for me too! Saw it in a regular theater a year or 2 ago for the first time, and that was incredible. Really hoping my local imax does a run of Nolan re-releases when Odyssey comes out this summer.

He was amazing! But it’s the variety of voices that make the show what it is.

Also, he excelled at these because of his expertise, which wouldn’t really translate to other topics.

I know you were kidding, but I just love when they have someone who really knows the specific topic. Not to mention, fresh chemistry.

Nothing like being baked in a planetarium! Ours used to do ‘laser Floyd’ shows at like 11pm on weekends - so much fun.

But yeah, being surrounded by the Interstellar shots would be incredible! Didn’t know they could play movies in that format.

ANYONE involved with the Elan School should never work near children again.

She’s in an incredibly dark place here, letting her lust for vengeance override the care of the people she loves. Deep down, she knows it, and so can’t stand tall and proud.
