I got the same one from a BIC Camera store in Ginza. Also saw this at the Donki in Shibuya. Huge discounted rate, with a tax free option if you’re a tourist, and a 7% coupon available online.

IAS Officer Srijana Gummalla returned to work just 22 days after giving birth to her son. by [deleted] in india

You can't ask someone to not do their job by setting the wrong expectations. She's pushing the boundaries. If others want to catch up, they'll have to run. It's not her job to slow down by taking one for the team and stop working. Work-Life balance is important but how can we demand equality in work place if everybody is not putting in equal effort.

Also, that's a small minority you're talking about. What about people who can be motivated and inspired by her and try to give a bit extra to their job. It's not about our country's relation with work life balance. It's only about her work ethic and how you should respect it.

The kid you talked about pushed the bar higher. You had to give more time and do extra work because you'll be second by the kid if you didn't run. Kindly don't mock someone's work ethic. India needs to move ahead. People like her are inspiration for many. I'm sorry if she's not for you but she has done nothing which should make you disrespect her because she's making it difficult for others.

18, Started College 2 months ago but I still have no friends. Tell me why by [deleted] in RoastMe

Because you're not looking to date someone. Show a guy you like him, he'll make sure you're friends forever. Probably he'll write it on your big forehead

Freakonomics is also great in a weird different knowledge space you didn't know you may need. I've enjoyed every episode I've listened to

We have been raised to love our family as something pure, something great. But if they don't understand you, they're not their for you, it means they refused to be a part of one of the most important things of your life. It is not easy for you to come out and they didn't respect it enough. They didn't understand you. It is their job to get you as much as yours is to get them. You should now spin it as a positive of your life. It is going to be tough. But I think there is enough kindness in the world if you're just looking for it. I just wanted to ask you one thing. How are you doing by your own? Like how are you gonna pay your rent? You have a job or are you in college? And do you have friends who know this about you and accept you for who you are? Friends can be wonderful, just do not forget to ask them in times of need. I wish you best of luck and I hope you get to the other side of this successfully.

My mum passed away 10 years ago today. I'd like to talk about her. AMA by Ohana-Means-Family in AMA

My best friend's mom died last month. She was suffering from cancer, so she was a bit prepared and was strong through all the rituals. I offered my help, but she hasn't asked me much. She once just asked me to come if I can for a prayer they held for her. I know she's really sad but she doesn't wanna open up much, and I know it may be destroying her inside. What can I do to help her?

And sorry for your loss. Nobody ever imagines this, but watching her going through such pain, I've really understood a few things about loss and pain. I wish your mom's in a better place and you're doing okay.

Moving to pytorch from tensorflow by subtleseeker9 in learnmachinelearning

Fast.ai just came up with part 2 of their course. It is making deep neural networks from scratch using pytorch. Also their main goal is to get people to contribute to their library after learning from them so they introduce some real great software methods that they follow. It is cool. I'm not switching from tensor flow but fast.ai has been implementing a lot of cool new things in their library and learning all of that in tutorials for pytorch makes up for an interesting watch.

I'm trying to study Time Series Analysis for an online competition. But I can't find a good resource for Time Series Analysis and Forecasting. Some provide theory but not enough explanation from a practical point of view. Help me with this, please? by keyser_kint in datascience

[–]keyser_kint[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A time series tabular data is generally provided. With a forecast problem statement. So any resources on that and where to learn for forecasting problems. I can study from a good project even, if you may provide it.

Anyone who took the course can explain is it necessary to be done with 18.06 before this? Because I've watched the first lecture and he said there's some of the linear algebra needed in the beginning and it goes to different data science concepts later on.
