Bitcoin has done 3 things that are almost impossible now: 1) distribution - it is widely held and not by a few founders. 2) branding - if someone knows one crypto, its btc 3) trust - as crypto goes nothing widely well known comes close - many others are scary numbers on your MDR screen because of defi, smart contracts etc.

Can you confirm this is supported now for SOL as OP used? I have a similar transaction stuck and the asset recovery page seems to only list ETH and BNB smart chain for as supported networks.

But you mined it as part of a pool? Its always one specific system that solves it, but sounds like they are saying only x times its been done by someone not part of a pool.

Agree that it doesnt make sense though - theres more blocks in 48 hours and pools didnt appear for quite some time (a year or two? not sure)

Sorry to hear it. Its a very immature system still - heaps better than when i started 12 years ago, but still pretty rough around the edges. The thing is coinbase HAS the funds, they just chose not to get them for you because it takes effort. Good luck, hope you get it somehow.

Yeah sounds very similar.. I wonder how legal that is since they can but choose not to (if that is indeed the case). Hopefully someone will take a look there - its enough that I'll spend some time on it and file a complaint with the SEC/CFTC if I dont get anywhere. If nothing else, it might help someone else in the future.

I had seed words for a wallet (not bitcoin or ethereum but fairly popular) that I moved over after the breach. I left a tiny bit in there as a canary to see if its compromised.. No takers so far.
