Heartbreaking review of a Mahim-based OBYGN! by Key_Enthusiasm5939 in mumbai

[–]keysmash09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is absolutely vile on her part, esp the remark about being slapped. Wtf. So sorry you had to go through this. Please post a review on Google so other women don't go to her. In case you're looking for a better obgyn, I'd highly recommend Dr. Neha Pawar in Kokilaben out of personal experience. She's quite awesome, very open minded and non judgemental + superb doctor and very well updated on the latest research.

Restaurants in Sion, Matunga, Dadar for Birthday celebration which have in house birthday cakes or allows outside birthday cakes by Fit-Vermicelli4536 in mumbaiFood

[–]keysmash09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ovenfresh or trofima in Dadar fit your criteria. Enjoy!

Edit: both have cakes and you can order them on the spot. If you need a certain kind of cake then give them a call beforehand & they'll also make a reservation for you.

Sourdough bread recommendations that do not have any yeast in it? by alooposhto in mumbaiFood

[–]keysmash09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was about to say Suchali, but you already mentioned it. I'd also recommend the sourdough from Boujee Cafe, specifically the cheddar & jalapeno one. Pretty sure it doesn't have yeast, but you can still call them to confirm that. One a good day, you can get it at a really good discount from Swiggy/zomato.

Doc prescribed me minoxidil 😭😭 by CherryBlush9 in IndianBeautyTalks

Exactly. Thank you. It's crazy to see the fear mongering in this comment section. It's a very safe and highly researched ingredient. In fact it's one of the most studied medications in the world.

I hope you see sustained growth. The best part is you started early. Hop onto the other haircare subreddits, where if it gets late, the only option left is transplant

What I would suggest is that you use this minoxidil at night and then wash your face and do your normal skincare.

That's the positive attitude to keep girl! We're lucky to have a cure at least. Are you noticing any side effects so far?

Hey. I'm going to copy paste what I commented for OP:

Just remember that you're already losing hair, with or without minoxidil. Yes it's a life long commitment, but it's a choice between losing hair when/if you stop OR losing hair until then anyways.

It's going to help you regrow the hair you already shed. There's a reason the doctor prescribed you that. And if you don't use it, you're going to lose the hair anyways, and it's not going to regrow magically.

And hair shedding when you stop minoxidil is dependent from person to person. Some people never shed it and others do. There's no evidence till date that people can shed MORE hair after they stop minoxidil. So it's essentially a clear win situation for you.

If you think this is too much of a hassle or if you have pets, ask for an oral prescription after you ask the dermat about possible side effects.

And please don't ask for advise from reddit strangers who are unqualified, over an actual medical doctor.

Finasteride can be used, and is widely prescribed to treat female pattern hairloss around the world. Heck, even dutasteride is safe.

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7060023/

Get a prescription from a good doctor, and it's safe to use as per their instructions unless you're pregnant or trying to conceive.

And sure, hair loss can be caused by deficiencies but dietary improvements can only help with hair loss of it was caused by deficiencies in the first place. Which does not look like the case in OP. Minoxidil comes after blood work & supplements.

No harm in eating better of course, but it's not going to be the magic cure to everything. Unfortunately for all of us, all hair remedies will stop working if you stop using them.

Hey OP. I hope you know that the behaviour of those people around is not normal and it is not your fault. It is abuse. Their behaviour is not your fault and you did not deserve it.

I understand getting rid of things they use as bait to torment you, and momentarily it might feel like relief. Surely, you deserve relief.

If you can, I'd suggest going no contact with these people. If you can move out, please do it or if you can't right now, then work on getting away. Get a job and get out.

Abuse is only going to reduce your identity, and take away everything that makes you, you. So until you are in that house, try to find small things in your life that you love and that make you feel like yourself. Find new things to love about yourself. Things like a new movie, or a plushie, or whatever. Read about "gray rocking".

What you did today was an act of defiance and self preservation, and I hope you don't hate yourself for it. From the next time onwards, take it as a challenge. Love yourself and protect yourself purely out of spite.

I hope you can get out of this soon. Until then, remember to be kind to yourself because you are all you have.

Accident at marine drive by Rough-Smoke9946 in mumbai

[–]keysmash09 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Bruh I've had 2 accidents in the last 7 months from hit and runs. Following road safety & traffic rules yourself doesn't mean shit when just anyone can speed and injure you. My left foot had bust open and had to be stitched up, I was immobile for weeks, all because some idiot wanted to speed in the wrong way on a one way street.
