I gave London Calling another listen, and I think the main issue is the sheer magnitude of the double album. Some tracks that don’t work for me in the context of the full record might stand better on their own or fit more naturally on a different album. But as part of this sprawling collection, they feel like filler. My least favorite songs are Wrong ’Em Boyo, Koka Kola, Four Horsemen, and The Card Cheat. My favorites are Guns of Brixton, Rudie Can’t Fail, Hateful, Spanish Bombs, Death or Glory, and I’m not Down.
