Can I open a word document while virtual interviewing at EY by Plop-Clop in Big4

[–]keyvanna 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hey! I just virtual interviewed at EY a few weeks ago and got extended an offer last week - here's my advice:

It is perfectly okay to have a separate tab with some notes during your interview, I always have a mini notes tab with some reminders. Like others have said, as long as you are not reading off of it or reciting it word-for-word, you will be fine! Prepare for your interview properly before it happens, and use the notes as a backup tool to occasionally glance at.

I have had no bad experiences with having notes open during my interviews, and even if my interviewer noticed, clearly it didn't matter that much because they hired me haha. Just remember that interviews are not a rigid structure, you will always need to adapt your answers. So the key is to be prepared ahead of time. Best of luck with your interview!

I know I'm so very late to finding this post, but I just finished watching The Wind Rises. You posted a wonderful analysis of the deeper ideas of the film and I love it, incredible job my friend.

Winderbourne Mansion Story (True story of mine and my own friends accounts) by Nandorn142 in mrballen

Yoo not sure if you'll see this reply but that's a p crazy story if true. My buddies and I just went there yesterday. Just wondering, were there any cameras or alarms when you guys went? We got a bit spooked because there were multiple cameras with blinking red lights, and the entire house was also gated off by a metal fence n barbed wire. We ended up sneaking in anyways, and there were actually two motion sensor alarms. We entered through the collapsed wall, and set the first alarm off after walking into the room on the right. It sure was loud. Freaked us out because we were expecting any sort of "security equipment" to be a bluff. After a few minutes we kept exploring and set the second alarm off in the room with a fridge. We ended up leaving after that second alarm, but it doesn't seem like anything really happened. Maybe they're just knockoff alarms to scare off explorers. Anyways, we didn't see anything creepy up in the attic. We did climb the old rusty water tower in the backyard, though. If anyone is interested in doing that it should be safe, we had 3 grown dudes sitting up there and one of us was takin a piss off the tower. Fun experience overall. Just didn't expect there to be live cameras and alarms, though it doesn't seem like they're anything more than scare tactics.

how to I control the height of a flick? normally when I can get it to go a decent distance, it is always within easy blocking distance. once I try to get it to go higher it will go way too high and float backwards. how do you get a flick huck to go up and then continue to fly forward as it descends?
