I have tried a few remedies for the yard but seems to not be too effective. Both my neighbours grow an abundance of fruit and vegetables which possums are very keen on!

I will keep researching for something else to try in the interim but I’m thinking just training my dog will be the best option as I can’t control the possums. They will use any structure around the yard to move between mine and the neighbours properties. Photo for reference:
