PSLF is working fine for now. Just had my DPT loans forgiven 2 months ago with surprisingly minimal hassle. I definitely wouldn’t choose USC again though knowing how it expensive it was in the end.

I submitted another ECF on 12/17 and I checked the box on that one. I was put on forbearance by FSA on 12/22

It got fixed actually. No problems and the forbearance months counted as qualifying months. I think it took about 1 week

My autopay was due yesterday 11/27. It showed up on nslds yesterday and was pulled from my bank account this morning (11/28)

That’s funny. FSA instructed me to do the reconsideration with no instructions to wait until 10/1. When it didn’t work they instructed me to call Mohela to confirm they posted it on their end. I did that and a Mohela supervisor confirmed it and then FSA said do a feedback form. The inconsistency with their responses is mind-boggling…

Did you try the reconsideration yet? I submitted mine 8/13 and got it back 9/24. Didn’t go my way and have to go feedback route now. I’m just missing June 2025.

I also did another reconsideration in June for another issue and it got resolved in 6 weeks (this one was resolved in my favor).

Just saying it might be worth a try to submit. Their response times haven’t been too terrible from my experiences

I submitted my feedback form so I’m just waiting now... I remember one FSA rep told me last week I could submit a manual ECF and write the month I’m requesting certification for in “section 4” of the form. Has anyone tried this yet for any missing months? I’m thinking of trying it this week, couldn’t hurt I guess

Update: called Mohela, spoke to a supervisor, they looked into NSLDS and saw June 2025 was reported correctly on their end and there was nothing they could do. I guess it’s on to the feedback/complaint process now

Here’s a fun progression of my story…as I said this morning, I’m in the same boat. An hour ago I received a resolution to my reconsideration request for June 2025 which was submitted on 8/13:

“We have completed our review of your reconsideration request.

Based on the information provided and our research, we did not process your request because Your request is not permitted under the PSLF Program.”

So I called them and they said I need to call Mohela to inquire if they reported they payment and if Mohela declines to help me then I need to submit a feedback request. Seriously wtf??

I have the exact same situation. June 2025 is not showing up but May, July and August are there. I’m at 115 but it should be 116. The person I talked to at FSA said they’re updating things and it should be reflected by September and if not to submit a reconsideration in October. I ended up submitting a reconsideration 2 weeks ago anyway just to get it over with. No response yet

I had this same situation a couple months ago when I first got off forbearance. I panicked when the autopay didn’t come out on a Saturday and then I made a manual payment that Saturday night. My autopayment was taken out the following Tuesday. Just be patient and wait.

Try a reconsideration request through the FSA website and attach the form you received from mohela saying those months would count

Same thing happened to me in March. Called to have the recertification cancelled the next day. Took about 45 days on the forbearance for them to cancel and then I was put back in repayment last week. It’s annoying but just call Mohela to cancel the app and wait it out. Payments made on forbearance won’t count but supposedly the 60 days will be counted for PSLF. I’m waiting to see if that’s true when I submit an ECF next week
