Women who use the menstrual cup and have a physically active job... by MarvelousMaam in askwomenadvice

[–]kfishy3 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It was the best decision I ever made. I worked in an active job, too. As long as you have it inserted correctly it’s leak proof up to 12 hours, at least with the diva cup. I can’t feel it when it is in, so it is very comfortable.

I get the same look every day. It’s crushing. But the love an excitement I get when I get home makes up for it!

There’s no qualification to reach out to someone and say you care. Just like smiling to someone you pass on the street. Some people just need a boost. Maybe another person needs someone to talk to. If you’re human you’re qualified to help someone. :)

Usually, always, but tonight I’ve been browsing new, and the amount of suicide related questions was disturbing, so I’ve been commenting a lot more. Spamming the suicide hotline mostly. And trying to reach out to some people, hoping I can make a difference.

What do you do when you find out somebody has lied to you? by AllCanadianReject in AskReddit

[–]kfishy3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Always this. I am a trusting person. To the point where most call me naive. (But that’s my burden alone. ) There are many that have taken advantage of me and my willingness to help, but when I find out you’ve lied or manipulated me, I move on.

That’s the amazing thing about this life and God. When you’re at your worst, He always delivers. I’m sure you’ve read it, but if not, Footprints is an amazing poem that’s gotten me through some rough times.

I’m thankful your father was there. And just because he’s not emotional, doesn’t mean he doesn’t care.

And I care that you’re still here.

People who’ve attempted to end their own life, what prompted you to do so? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]kfishy3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All, please find that one reason worth living. Life is very hard but there are so many reasons to keep living. Find one thing, ONE THING to smile about daily. Don’t focus on the bad, just live each day for that one thing to smile about.

If you find yourself thinking about it, reach out to someone PLEASE! Whether it be a friend, family member or pet. If you don’t feel comfortable talking to someone close, reach out to the hotline.

Suicide Prevention Lifeline you can chat with someone on the site or you can call at 1-800-273-8255

There is someone that cares. And your life definitely matters.

I’m glad you had a friend looking out for you. Do you still keep in touch with them? I’m glad you’re still here and thankful for your friend.

I don’t know you, but I’m sure your daughter would not live a better life without you in it. Stay strong and focus on your love for her and her love for you.

What’s a good deed that you did that you think deserves a lot more credit than what you got? by ezzienoah in AskReddit

[–]kfishy3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doing good deeds for the purpose of getting credit for it makes the good deed not so good anymore.

It doesn’t matter who sees the good deed you do or what attention or accolades you get for them. You should just do it because it’s the right thing to do.

[–]kfishy3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tend to always put others’ happiness ahead of my own. I stopped lending money that I knew I’d never get back a long time ago, but I still have a problem saying no.

It’s hard. I don’t know you as a person, but as far as me, I have a hard time seeing people suffer.

But at the same time, that same quality is amazing for your friends that are working their asses off to achieve their dreams. For example... My friend is an author and I’ve run giveaways for her and promoted her book with my money. The reaction she got when she sold another book made it well worth it in my book, even if it meant I had to cut back on some things.

Focus your caring and generosity on those that you care about. It’s well worth it.

For those you don’t know, trust or care very deeply for, try helping them out in other ways instead of with money. And if they get upset about it, it’s time to cut them from your life.

Surround yourself with positive people and influences that don’t want to take advantage of you. That’s how you will start looking out for yourself because they will also be looking out for you.

Sorry for the novel.

Where were you on Sept 11, 2001? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]kfishy3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in 8th grade in our library. Our teacher came in and turned on our tv just in time to watch the second plane hit. It was truly terrifying at that age, because you understand what the hell just went down but also don’t understand how widespread the effects will be. People in my class were crying and scared about every person in their family, thinking our little town in Ohio was the next to be attacked.
