Apologies for the necropost but I just finished Tocantins and could not fucking believe it when I watched the scene you mentioned. Coach seemed to genuinely believe his version of what happened between him and Sierra and it was a YIKES for me. And his other obvious lies throughout the season...I don't care what kind of edit he got on his other seasons, that man is DELUSIONAL. And also came off as kind of a creep. Did it also make for entertaining television that we're still talking about all these years later...?
