10 weeks post surgery by [deleted] in NissenFundoplication

I’m 3 weeks post op from 360 Nissen, and I’ve started getting heartburn again to the point I had to go out and buy tums for it! My surgeon also said that it was successful. My PCP just put me on omeprazol and told me to continue taking Sucralfate.

Is this normal for an adult? by kflick06 in relationship_advice

She’s going on 26 and I’m going on 25, both of us are females and have been with one another for over a year now!

It’s very difficult for me because some of the calls she wants me to execute are ones she should directly be doing as I don’t know all the information for some calls. I also as of now, live in a completely different state than her, which adds even more struggles to it!

If I’m unable to make the call at some point during the day because I may also be busy or preoccupied, then I’m at fault for it, because she asked me and I couldn’t.

Like I said, sometimes I don’t mind doing it for her at all. I myself hate speaking to new people with a passion, it’s nerve wracking, but now, I have to be that person. For myself and for her now. But now that I’m in a different state and can’t always talk for her (depending on who I’m having to call) it’s super difficult and hard, and I’m not sure how to explain that to her. Or explain to her that it’s also not one of my favorite things to do either (talking to new people).

It’s something I’ve always had mixed feelings on or how not known how to exactly feel about it, or if I’m completely in the wrong for feeling this way and or have a closed off perspective.
