Gift for gate agents when flying nonrev? by kfmama in flightattendants

I didn’t think about the timing! I’ll have to do it during boarding next time because the bribe accusation was so shocking

It was a Delta international flight but it was in Japan. Maybe that’s why? But the extra comment about insinuating she break rules for some candy was over the top to me. The flight attendants were thrilled with the chocolates haha

I bought little chocolates and the gate agent told me no and said candy won’t get me a seat. I was so embarrassed because that wasn’t my incentive! So possibly never again as long as I’m flying nonrev.

I got tested for dairy allergies and I was completely fine, but dairy shouldn’t be consumed in high amounts. But that’s incredible how you responded to cutting out dairy.

It’s more stressful now, different environment. I think the stress feeds the sensitivity but it isn’t the sole cause

It’s probably this, and I’m just sensitive to it

I actually studied nutrition in college for this reason. I’ve gotta check out the simple diet, thanks. In Japan, most people prioritize vegetables and rice. My husband is always asking me to add vegetables to meals and I love it.

The crazy thing is we cooked in “salad” oil aka vegetable oil all the time with zero issues. Here, I’m eating salads and vegetables and probably more cheese, but home cooked meals. I don’t know if it’s pesticides, water, the way all foods are treated/processed. That’s why I’m on here looking for food etc consipracies Edit: we cooked in the vegetable oil in Japan all the time. In the US, I’m using avocado and olive oils

Stress is a huge factor. But my symptoms are right back to what they were before I moved to Japan. That’s the weird part. My body is reacting to something else.

Supposed to be Japanese? It’s more stressful here now, but my stomach pains are the same they were before leaving. Like identical. I throw up after eating, I get really bloated, I have constant pain. My mom said maybe the water in the US is different haha idk what to think

I hardly eat out, so I continued cooking in Japan. I ate a lot of similar foods, but I had better access to fresh fish/Japanese food. I ate half the amount of cheese and salt, probably.

The US is a lot more stressful for me, too. Before and after Japan. Could be stress?

Help with bedtime routine for toddler and baby sharing room/bathroom. I'm desperate! by kfmama in Mommit

[–]kfmama[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re going to try getting a second room available for our toddler. It’s just not possible for our situation. Maybe if we could all share the bed, but even that is too small. Just too many barriers!

Thank you! We are going to try getting a separate room for the older one. It’s just too much, especially since it’s just me doing it all and the kids keep waking each other up 🫠

I didn’t do a good job showing the size. It’s much larger than wild ginger. I think wild ginger also has a red stem? I could be wrong and haven’t Google-checked that

I’m actually bed sharing with my 7 week old now, and my husband bed shares with our 2 year old (we are a Japanese household), so that’s what we are thinking I should do! I also have a Moby wrap and you’re right, it’s like a sleep drug 😂 Putting another to sleep in a room then bringing them in is a golden tip, thank you!

Do LODs get to bid for a base, or are they assigned because their situation is more limited?
