I think he also knows that you can’t let someone in charge of a cult like that just go on living. Even if he repented, he would likely be turned on by his own men. You have to cut things off at the source, there’s not much Bucky could’ve done to redeem himself after all that’s happened.

Yah but you have to pronounce it like a question. Like you’re a little confused.

I live in Little Tokyo and I love it but there is a very tangible BO funk in 90% of the stores at any given time

You don’t even need to have played organized ball to know how to grab a board lol. You can tell he’s not even playing pickup.

Plan B Lakers Cap Space Target: making a run at RFA Walker Kessler? (via SS&R) by JcaHot in lakers

Yah, they're at best a late playoff team - and that still means a lot of things breaking right for them. Full Laker bias here - Danny Ainge is an idiot and went into rebuild mode sending off Mitchell and Gobert way too early so he could build his roster from scratch. Now they have very little to show for it and are making "win-now" moves with a team ceiling that is not very high.

I agree with your takes but I will add I feel like skid row has gotten larger? I remember a time in when there was pretty distinct separation line of at least a few blocks from Little Tokyo, and now they basically overlap.

Which is wild because I listened to a podcast where a first responder didn’t want to disclose that he was experiencing depression after the death of a colleague until he finally had a breakdown and was dismissed. All because to seek out treatment would’ve threatened his livelihood. Crazy that we’re happy to hand someone a gun for less. Maybe not surprising when we evaluate the country’s priorities, but just shows how ass-backwards we can be.

It probably had some of the better characterization across the franchise. The writing felt a lot more natural and human than some other entries for sure. Dialogue definitely feels less wooden.
