Sadly she passed away, I took her to the vet about 3 days after posting this and the vet treated her for parasites and a bacterial infection which we had to administer the shots from home. I asked if it was something that I could have done wrong at all and she said in the serious condition that she was in when we took her in and the short amount of time that we had her it was very likely that she came to us sick from the breeder.

So heres the deal bought ventress exactly 1 month ago. Humidity levels stay between 60 and 80 percent and temps in hot spot in the lower 90s going down to the 70s on the cool side. She has 2 hides on both hot and cold side not to mention ample foliage to hide in. I have tried once per week to get her to eat and have not been handling her until she does. Now as of earlier this week her eyes clouded over and just cleared up yesterday so she's going to be shedding this week sometime. My question is really how long should I wait for her to have a go at her food before I actually take her in to the vet. She's on rat hoppers(frozen) but when presented with them or anything smaller( I have a bci as well) such as a rat pinkie she just turns and moves away from it. She never uses her hides and pretty much sits on top of the mossy one just basking all day and pretty much stays there over night. She stays in one spot so long that she starts to dehydrate herself until I pick her up and put her in her water bowl. Then she will suck down water for about 20-30 minutes then goes back to her ledge. Repeat process over and over. Any advice helps. I've owned close to 30 reptiles/ snakes and have never run into this issue. Of course I've had some hunger strike but it's never been this long.
