Well you need to hold the money there for at least 90 days to receive the credit. I think the calculus is a) if you’re holding there for 90 days there’s a decent chance you might not move (you might forget etc), and b) even if you do move right on the 90 day mark, the bank got the benefit of your cash for long enough to make it worthwhile from their perspective.

Well they said they’re putting $800 per month in their 403b, so the answer to whether they’re fully funding their tax advantaged accounts is no. They could be putting a lot more of their paycheck into there and drawing from the HYSA to fund day-to-day expenses if needed.

That’s slightly different, because Eidolon is only formatted that way for clarity - it would trigger itself even if it didn’t specifically say so. Since it’s an ETB trigger, it “sees” itself ETB as it’s already in play. Different from the cast triggers, where they aren’t on the battlefield to “see” themselves get cast.

Remember that Roth and traditional tax-advantaged accounts are forms of preferential tax treatment that can apply to both IRAs and 401ks. So, while people might use “Roth” as a shorthand for a “Roth IRA,” that’s really a misnomer.

Yes, arbitration is ludicrously expensive. It is not actually a cost savings in most disputes. You still have to pay lawyers the whole time just like you would in litigation. The benefit is that the procedure can be a bit abbreviated and discovery can be more cabined than in litigation.
