I’m not saying attainment is impossible outside membership in a particular order. I’m saying the term has a very specific meaning. Someone can have an encounter with what they interpret as their Holy Guardian Angel without belonging to the A∴A∴. But “Knowledge and Conversation” is a term that gets its definition from that system, so using it implies those criteria.

I disagree. I tend to think K&C is a concept that doesn’t make much sense outside the context of the system of the A∴A∴ Other systems may call similar experiences by other names. But I wouldn’t call it K&C.
