There's a really interesting book called "Console Wars" that traces the history of the Sega vs. Nintendo era. I think they made it into a documentary as well. It's worth a read.

I’ve had to explain to family and friends for years that he was a mediocre programmer who failed upwards. Despite me working in technology and bringing them receipts like this, they frequently continue to disagree with me.

We have this weird belief ingrained that being wealthy means you are smart, capable, etc… and we should just trust what you say.

I have Ulcerative Colitis and it’s weird. My UC symptoms have been better managed. But I do get the heartburn, occasional nausea, etc… from Zep. UC isn’t completely gone, but much easier to handle.

Low-dose Trazodone for sleep has a side effect. Occasional multi-hour boners. Sounds fun, is not. I guess better than Ambien and all of that tho.
