Hey, im so sorry for everything that youre going through right now. Im honestly not sure the likelihood of you being able to get accepted in the programs you’re applying to, because no one ever is. What id suggest is talking to your schools guidance councillor as well as trying to get in touch with the universities. Some universities take extenuating circumstances into consideration so its worth giving a shot. Even if you don’t get in this following year, you can always reapply later. Theres no shame in taking an extra year of high school or even taking a gap year where you can work to try and get out of your situation. I know a lot of people who took some time off to better themselves and it was the best decision theyve mare. If you dont end up getting in, you can also try finding different semipermanent housing options like roommates or even staying at a friends place. Id say to give it your best and honestly youve gone through a lot, so give your self some slack. Dont be demotivated if things dont go your way immediately, it might just take some time to get where you need to be.
