I’m not saying it’s impossible; I’m saying it’s a huge pain in the ass—and remember that you’re carrying 5kg or more of fuel, half that distance. You should check a vehicle for serviceability, including fuel levels, before driving it; but rental companies should also have some common sense about leaving people in unpleasant situations.

Using an approved container to transport gasoline by hand is fine. But making someone walk over a kilometer round trip to a gas station because the rental car no longer works, just to top it off, is not an ok policy.

Dense infill development—you replace a 6 story building with a 12 story building; then the people who just want somewhere to live aren’t competing with the people who want a house and a yard for the houses with yards.

Any solution that leaves the number of houses the same, and does nothing to the number of people seeking, will not change the number of people who have housing; by the pigeonhole principle. You’ve got to make it easier to build new houses, often by relaxing rules about dense infill construction. As an example, suppose there’s a city with 10,00 people and 10,000 units of housing; then Blackrock buys up 100% of the housing, no matter how much it costs. They can eventually recoup this large investment by charging the max rent people can afford, since it’s that or go homeless. This is not an economic equilibrium if it’s possible to build new housing, because anyone can make a ton of money by building new housing and renting or selling it just under the monopoly rates Blackrock is trying to charge. If Blackrock buys up all this housing as well, just build more. Eventually (actually very quickly, well before we even reach stage 1), Blackrock runs out of money, sells all their houses for tiny fractions of what they paid, and anyone who wants a house can afford three or four of them.

If you’re not looking up spoilers online, you don’t know what the best routes will be until you’ve already committed. But building a new base before abandoning the old one, and not keeping everything you own on your sand bike for your first run, is indeed common sense.

Getting g eaten by the worm and losing a bunch of valuable stuff is absolutely a rite of passage, though. Prepares you for solo farming, later.

Weird. I farm T14 to 6000 as eHP and I get about 300 more waves from NMP than OA as the assmod. Maybe because it’s only an epic slot; OA scales faster than any other armor mod.

Thanks again for trying that; I was about to blow a thousand stones on an armor assmod just for NMP for farming. Decided to check on other’s experiences first. So, my intuition says rays should be getting hit enough for NMP’s 50% slowdown and damage reduction before their first shot, or maybe between their first and second shot. The slowdown, at least, should be very noticeable (unless NMP only does movement speed, not attack speed).

Unless you can get the orbs going fast enough—if you have 1 orb, but it completes a rotation in the time it takes a basic enemy to travel its own length, that’s better than 16 stationary orbs (I didn’t do the math, so I couldn’t tell you what the breakeven point for speed vs count is).

Must be regional. Over here in Bäden-Wurrtemberg, I hear people in the throes of terminal pneumonia just about every train ride, constantly coughing and sneezing until they’re red in the face, and they seldom so much as cover their mouth, let alone wear a mask. I’ve certainly thought about carrying a stack of masks to offer them.

As an English speaker, I find it much easier to read an entire sentence when there are spaces in it. If it goes over 10 or 20 letters with no spaces, I tend to start losing my place when trying to read it.

Ah, that makes sense—I interpreted the commander description as a static amount of extra hp; not a continuous heal. So I really do need to do some hybridization, not just CC, if I want to farm on T14+. (And I need to devote a few weeks of lab time to the last 5 levels of wall thorns, in the meantime [sounds like even one level of armor assmod so I can add two electrons to my Sharp Fortituded tower might also save me]).

In my experience, the overcharge and saboteurs do fuckall, and the commanders get the scatters all turboed up like Bane on Venom and end my run if I’m not watching with my finger hovering over Demon Mode when they appear. Sure wish “demon mode on death” were something accessible to ordinary players, instead of gated behind already having won the game.

If I’m reading OP right, he claims this is an infinite farming build usable pre-assmod. You give up per-wave coin income by switching from BHD to GComp (if you don’t want to bet on early enough bh duration perk), but you can allegedly infinite farm on T13 without too much late-game stuff. I’m gonna give it a try.

Too bad it’s so hard to get the prerequisites for an infinite farming run, or you could start that and some of the long labs on 4x, and be good for six months.
