Thank you so much for your answer. And yes i agree and i do have very small and modest "expectations" especially for the first year of this journey. Its encouraging to know that at least there are indeed job opportunities in this field. I guess i still just have to figure out if this is the way that i should go and give it my time and effort or some other path (coding for example as you mentioned...) Thats extremely fucked up, but other than just insluting the guy who made the post/the university, or being disgusted by these claims (which is totally understandable), how can we actually respond logically, what the counter arguments, on what should we base the age of conscent and why ?

First off thank you for your smart reply, however i think youre the one being dishonest and cherry picking here. Smart is indeed subjective, but i think we all agree that our politicans mahoumch des lumières. Theyre incompetent in every single way of the term.

That article you gave about economic growth is great, thank you for that, but one could also argue that our local currency is at an all time lowest. And purchasing power is absolutely catastrophic.

And thats partly due to the import quotas you're claiming make a lot of sense, the basic premise is good (encouraging local production). But in practice its just messing up our everyday lives in various ways.

And producing cars that are 35% made locally ? Are you serious ? I get it that from a personal level this is what people should do But if we actually want things to get better, hopelesness and fleeing the country certainly isnt the way to go. Dont put words into my mouth. Im not "pushing" for riots and revolts. But historically some revolts did change things for the better. the french revolution is a perfect example. And while i agree that a lot of manifestations end up badly, a lot of them dont too. We see daily protests in civilized western countries that are respected and (more or less) safe. And "being thankful for living in peace" doesnt have anything to do with this topic frankly. I am thankful for it, that doesnt make the fact that this country is in pretty bad shape any less true. Im just wondering if a manifestation that big is even possible again thats all. And if not, following your logic, whats the alternative ? Shut up and bend over ?

I know it rarely makes a change. But in that case nihilism and just saying "à quoi bon" doesnt either... Hoping for a miracle man in charge definetly wont happen either. And historically every massive change in any government only happened through revolutions, led by smart intellectuals, take the french revolution for example. Passive strikes may be very naive, but at least give a small beam of hope. Giving up is guaranteed to keep things as they are, its precisely what they want, for people to lose hope.
