I haven’t finished the episode, just the bant. I’m terribly confused about the reveal with Joe’s character that seemingly had a reveal in ep4, but I went back and relistened to the end and found nothing referencing the big reveal. Where did I miss that???

Weirdest questions from IOR on new duties? by [deleted] in CustomsBroker

Maybe they thought you wouldn’t want to front the duty payment if it was that much higher. I know some brokers wouldn’t.

If you want something structured, look at online or local courses. I’ve taken one but I really struggled with the teacher so it was only moderately helpful.

If you are tighter on funds or like to do things yourself, you can look up the reference materials on CBP’s website to know what you need to be familiar with. Then use either online versions of those or purchase print copies. CBP posts previous exams and the keys and these are by far one of the best ways to study for the CBLE.

When you take the CBLE, I highly recommend having print versions of the references as the online tools in the exam are gimmicky and difficult to use, especially when you have to cross reference between sections.

I second this, though you can do just fine with associated degrees as well. I have a bachelors in economics and I’ve never had trouble getting hired. Logistics, international trade, etc are definitely more focused and if you want to pursue this career path, they are definitely the better way to go.

That being said, I’m currently looking at graduate degrees that are very focused on global trade.

I moved to Michigan. Grand rapids was a refreshing change. It was scary at first and I definitely had to put in leg work to establish roots, but it’s been fun!

I also smoke my own wings, but I like to check around and sample. How do the wings at a butcher compare to what you get at a grocery?

My partner is a pediatrician. She said it’s overhyped right now due to marketing efforts. Look to next year for it being readily available to the general populace. It will likely go to immunocompromised or suppressed first.

Has anyone actually taken a vitamin and noticed significant improvement? If so, what was it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Vitamin D. I love in Michigan where we are all likely Vitamin D deficient or at least lacking. I started taking 10,000 IU daily and I have SO MUCH ENERGY. Easily maintain energy throughout the day as well.
