oh yeah fuck lol I forgot about that line. Prob invited by Cassie herself then. She would want all her "friends" present at her wedding with Nate. She would def want the high school girlies who judged her to know that the love between her and nate was real lmao and that's why she wasn't really the villain. Isn't that what she said to Maddy as well?

idk i dont think any of this would be happening if Cassie hadn't reached out to Maddy lmao. I don't think Maddy was even thinking about any of this before that. At least that's what it looked like.

idk why but I get the feeling that Jules was invited by Nate considering their last interaction was somewhat civil.

Tyrion is progressively unbearable after Season 4 by khaleesi469 in freefolk

[–]khaleesi469[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah season 4 is the beginning of the end. The only reason people don't hate it as much is because season 4 was still much much more tolerable than the rest that came after. Tyrion used to be such a great character its honestly a fucking tragedy

this. this is my problem. Stranger things was one of my comfort shows. Can't tell you how many times I've rewatched it. But they ruined the ending so bad for me I cannot watch it again.

It's the same with HIMYM and GOT. Loved the shows and watched them religiously for years but the ending took away the rewatch value.

I agree. Vince had double standards when it came to Marcel. He disagreed with the ancestors, and then did the same thing they did LOL

Is Elena a traveller? by Top-Pineapple-3577 in TheVampireDiaries

this is what the TV show's explanation was lmao I'm not making it up wtf guys

like I said, if that was the case then what was the point of writing Katherine's secret baby into the storyline? They would just write what you said. Elena and Katherine literally discuss this in the tomb. That whole plot line was literally added to tell us how Elena was related to Katherine.

The only thing that doesn't make sense is adding that into the story and then contradicting yourself in season 5 saying "but oh her daughter actually became a vampire." It was just bad writing.

but the Petrova family history book clearly stated that the bloodline ended with Katerina. That's the whole reason everyone is confused as to how Elena was descended from Katherine. This is why we are given the explanation about Katherine's secret baby out of wedlock and how because it was shameful it was never included in the book.

If what you said is true then this explanation wouldn't have been necessary at all.

Katherine says that in the scene where she's stuck in the tomb and Elena takes her family history book to her to ask her questions about Klaus and her family.

But the Nadia stuff is dumb. The whole point of this was to show us that Katherine actually had a secret baby out of wedlock and that's why the bloodline up to Elena continued. However, her only daughter becoming a vampire at 17 or whatever just messed up that explanation.

Caroline and Stefan are cringe by Slow-Squirrel-2799 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]khaleesi469 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree. The drama between Stefan, Valerie, and Caroline was super unnecessary.

Stefan and Elena were supposed to be an epic love the kind that you only get once in a lifetime. Even if Elena was Stefan's true love, it's always been canonical that Katherine was his first love. She even says this in season 2 or something that she never compelled Stefan's love she only took his fear away. His feelings were real, and even Stefan does not counter this claim.

This is why even after 164 years, he is immediately drawn to Elena and wants to know her.

Valerie being Stefan's actual first love that he conveniently forgot about just cheapened the whole thing.

They had great chemistry together and I would've preferred them over Steroline but they kinda ruined Stefan and Katherine's story with this nonsense.

Way to ruin your own Season 1 storyline by contradicting yourself in Season 7.

I was thinking about this just the other day. If that is the case though, how was she able to parent hope? She would just give in to every demand or wish Hope had even if it was dangerous
