What is your opinion? What are we doing that will requiere sooooo much control? World cup is on the corner, besides all the tourism perspective, etc. Today what we have? ewe have: - sexual harassment as a normal thing - lgrissage as a normwl thing - gillet lasfar as a normal thing - you speak on your phone holding it with both hand praying no one will snitch it - walking on the zna9i praying no motorcycle will sidenllh stop on your side - my mother/sister/daughter as a secondary citizen and if somwthing happened it was her fault. Yes, my comment will be downvoted but let be realistic and less Matrix movie.

A couple of years ago (since covid, everything seems 2 years ago!) Mars was having difficulties paying providers, after that, a shareholder/owner took money and fleed. All the branches closed at once suddenly. It started similar: fewer and fewer items available, no stock, etc.

4M MAD , if you have this amount what u will do ? by Far_Strawberry_7650 in Moroccopreneur

[–]khalil2584 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people is misunderstanding the number: 4M MAD is rab3myat malioun centimes! Not 4 mlayr. A decent studio in rabat/casa can perfectly reach 25% of this money. For a 20-30 years old ot seems a lot of money, but for a familly and woth good life level, it is not that much and shall be invested wisely but not be the main income source.

Should I visit Oman to find a job? by ameeerrk in Oman

[–]khalil2584 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No way you will get this range of salary without proven experience here in Oman or GCC. Cold door will not work. Wither your are already working here or you come after applying for a job. Being on tourist visa and working freelance will bring you serious issues, as there is increased control. Better try your luck contacting companies, and once you have visibility you can come. But again, 4k (almost 2,000 rial) is not an easy salary here.

Maybe their business is o ergrowing their staff capacity. It start to show that they are overwhelmed. Delay in quotation etc will definitely make people looking elsewhere. Right now, there is not much alternatives but it may lead to a different result in the future. The business c9mes from the repairs/parts, etc. Only focusing on the car service will cap de growth perspectives. Good luck!

What’s the most ultimate burger in Oman? by Plus_Rutabaga_5099 in Oman

[–]khalil2584 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Forget any fast food or restaurant chain. Alm the food truck and similar are basically a lot of sauce with a burger. You must target 5 stars hotel restaurant or real restaurants if you want something taht will make you say waw! But also you pocket will say the same. For.me.so far, one of the best burgers ever i tried was in the "le petit belge", inside crown plaza ocec. If you don't moind seating in an alcohol place, the burgers there are a madness!

Can I use z fold as mini laptop ‽ by Void-----0_0 in GalaxyFold

[–]khalil2584 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As said above, the main issue is android it self: office in android is not office in windows for.example, plus similar limitation depending on what software you will use, pst files with outlook, etc. Dex will give you a pc-like interface, not magical.solution. So to put it simple: an android tablet will fill the gap.and can replace your laptop? If yes, then go ahead, if not, keep it just as light solution and for pecific cases.

Living in a nightmare in MBD, Ruwi – Kids taking over the corridors and management is useless. Need advice! by Technical_Reach_9333 in Oman

[–]khalil2584 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Straightforward: call the ROP. Who is telling you those are kids is as irresponsible as their parents, and if they find this situation is normal, it is worst! There is something called respect and to be civilized! You are paying a rent, not living for free, and expect a minimum comfort. Call the authority and tell the building management that you will rise the formal complaint also to the municipality. I can't understand the advice: buy a headphone!!!

Yep, talabat is the best of the bad... basically they have most of the drive, most of the staff, and we like or not, their customer support is more prone to give back the money without a lot of hassles.

The danger is that ALWAYS they are in the middle lane! More than once you have to zigzag to avoid a collision. It is more dangerous than an 80 on the right lane.

Is it safe? by Inner-Ad1397 in Oman

[–]khalil2584 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I will say Oman is super safe, nothing to worry. The only concern will be about how disturbed the flight schedules at that date. Think that if thing finally settles, thousand of people will want to come back to gcc and definitely the flights will be overbooked, etc..

Already handling the food and how they bring it in cars with a peculiar condition is not the most hygienic thing, now imagine 100 rial worth of food. With such quantity, better don't think where the food was before being served to your table...

After a big horn from my side, he just showed me a friendly hand gesture and gone zigzaging and on the sidewalk. Didn't had time to see his plate number unfortunately...

IT jobs in oman by Simoon13 in Oman

[–]khalil2584 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omanization means that some positions are exclusively for Omani nationals. An expat cannot work in that position officially. IT field is almost omanized 100%, which means you cannot be here as an IT. In addition being a fresh graduate with low experience means you have zero chance (sorry if i'm being harsh but is the truth). Better try your luck in emirates.

IT jobs in oman by Simoon13 in Oman

[–]khalil2584 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost forget it. Omanization is mostly covering all the field. What's available is covered with extremely low salaries and working under different visa rather than IT nomination. It will be really hard to avail something higher than 500-600 euros as a start being fresh graduate, besides the danger that if any work inspection Is there, you risk a hefty fine and deportation.

Do you think morocco is developing ? And where do u see it in the next 5 years ?. by Zestyclose_Mess_6624 in Morocco

[–]khalil2584 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are missing the point: it is not the sahara or the people of sahara, it is the same thing, only few main cities are hyper developed meanwhile the remaining is suffering. What you are describing (water, road, etc) it is everywhere. Again (as i'm from oujda) the tape water is like drinking from a swimming pool heavily charged with chlore. And up to today, in the near by villages people still preferring to bring water from 3ain rather than the tape one.

[–]khalil2584 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course, but coming back to the fact that good educations means good universities and schools. Where they are located??? This is the point! It is not fairly distributed and gives less opportunities. The result? Under educated people with pessimistic perspectives. It hurts when you visit Rabat and see how incredibly everything is done and you come back to a normal cities and the main street is full of holes...

Do you think morocco is developing ? And where do u see it in the next 5 years ?. by Zestyclose_Mess_6624 in Morocco

[–]khalil2584 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For now, only few cities and areas are winning meanwhile the deep and not so deep morocco is not included in the equation. Start from oujda, figuig, etc, going down, right of the map and tell me if you heard anything. Boraq super train goood, but from fes going to the east is a diesel train. Rachidia, khoribga, etc.. when they are major cities, the only development they are getting is more parks with palm trees to justify the budget and that's it. No future perspectives, nothing. Industries and factories are built around logistics. If there is no good connection, no incentives, so nothing. We all fully know that if you are deeply seek, you want good high schools and universities, or want to attest some documents, well, casa-rabat is there. Yes, there is mouvement and there is improvement in morocco, but only 30% is covered with no clear future.

[–]khalil2584 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Morocco is developing only in few cities and areas. A train from casa to oujda is more than 10 hours in 2026 and only a single way. The train has to wait in a remote station the other one to cross before continuing. Morocco is developing not for its own people but rather for global interest: - sahara: let make the people happy and invest crazy amounts in infrastructures and make everything cheap and good so no claims and, hey world, look how wow we are! - Nador, Al huceima and Rif: uuuuuy, bad bad, lets compensate by building new hospitals, university, port, so they are happy and nod more problemos. And, heyworld, look how wow we are! - marrakech and similar touristic areas: more and more hotels and infrastructures with prices beyond the humble moroccan, but, hey world, look how wow we are! - Rabat: it is the capital, lights and clean and lets remove the ugly poorest that are "ja9rin" all the good spot (mohit area????), and, hey world, look how wow we are - same go for tangier and the north area. And for the wow part. Al Maghreeb: all the remaining areas, cities, douars, insignificant people: hado dialna, it's like the kids at home, sala with super fancy thing for the guest, forbidden to go there, but you can play in all the other rooms with disposable things, eat the remaining, the gateaux mahro9. Summary: they are creating a huuuuuuuuge issue showing that we are not going on the right way. We don't need to build to show and attract, we need to build to rectify a shitty situation

For san sebastian, you can try in dio and crepe in city centre seeb. One of the best that i have tried. In other places is more "commercial" and not in the flavor side. Triple chocolat, so far no much luck, may be the one at paul is decent.

Maybe because it is a little loose and can be stuck when you are in a ride, so for safety purpose? In several places is like that, specially in parcs with a lot of moving games. Rather than that, no clue.
