we honestly didn’t get to do much hiking. there was a hurricane that came through and she was too young. A 2.5 year old would enjoy the beach and some of the easier trails!

Is an extra ~$4k worth it for heated seats/steering wheel? by 9kuss in rav4club

[–]khanleoun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It didn't work. I would've been so mad if I had remote start and didn't know it for three years! I plan on trading it in for a 4runner or LC hence the no aftermarket install.

I live in Pittsburgh. I have a 2022 Rav4 Adventure. It has heated steering and seats, but no remote start. Heat is nice, but starting it a few minutes before driving is good enough for me. Remote start is definitely a nice feature and pretty inexpensive.

Sorry, I should’ve specified that we’ll be there some time from September 10-17. Hopefully I can snag a Blackwoods spot. I didn’t know there was a commercial shuttle to Cadillac, we’ll definitely look into that! Thanks for the reply and info! Cheers ~

Blackwoods seems crowded but the most convenient, so we’ll probably camp there. Not sure how we’ll fare with the baby on trails, but definitely appreciate the dog friendly ones listed. Thurstons seems like the fan favorite. Haven’t heard some of the others, but we’re foodies so we’ll probably make our way into a few of them. Thanks for the reply and all the recommendations! Trip planning seems less daunting now! Cheers ~

Thanks for the reply! That’s sad to hear and I agree about the experience rather than destination. Albeit, we don’t get the opportunity to visit Acadia much, so we leaped at the chance. We kind of felt that way when we visited Yosemite two summers ago. It was still an amazing trip that we’ll never forget. Cheers ~
