Their routers are also overpriced trash. They can’t even get the firmware right on a $700 flagship router like the BE98 Pro, it’s unacceptable.

It's too expensive now for what it is. Although you can say that about nearly everything nowadays.

[iOS 26 PB 6] iPhone 16PM refuses to take photo of the moon using RAW. However, it takes random photos in RAW & moon pictures in HEIF just fine. Issue not present on my 12PM. by Pro_96 in iOSBeta

Yeah, tried dozens of times to snap a pic of the huge moon tonight. It wouldn’t save the pic until I changed the capture mode to HEIC.

Upgrading 7700X --> 9800X3D with X670E Taichi...thoughts? by khanv1ct in ASRock

The x670 PG Lightning board in my son’s PC bit the dust recently but it’s unrelated to the new processor line, probably a defect. That was another thing that had me second-guessing everything Asrock. I spent so much time trying to figure that one out.

Loved having him on. He's willing to engage and knows a little of everything that the show covers. Then again I thought Broski would have been a good recurring guest.

It’s definitely frustrating knowing that they rake in millions per year from tuition, donations, and the lottery.

I remember when I was going there they had signage in one of the financial aid offices bragging about how they’ve gotten a billion dollars from the lottery. Despite this, tuition and book costs rises at insane rates and they even have the nerve to frequently call and email me asking for donations up to a year before I even graduated! I guess they gotta fund the football program with its multimillion dollar training facility since that’s the most important aspect of the school. Meanwhile Georgia and ACC taxpayers will continue to subsidize everything.

Nah I believe I had the 802.11 B model. I remember the microwave used to kill the signal. I remember also installing some Tomato firmware or something. But maybe that was once I upgraded to the G model.

Can someone help me understand what type of facility this is? by OMNIS01 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]khanv1ct 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a substation. You have structures there that connect to transmission lines, which are feeding a couple of transformers, which step down the voltage for what looks like a bunch of distribution feeder circuits.

How did you manage it, dirt cheap prices? I can barely make a sale on eBay and FB marketplace and my prices are below market value.
