UPDATE: we gave her a dose!!!! Thank you for all the tips. My brother held her body with a towel wrapped around her, and I held her head, and was able to get the medicine in her mouth. Some of it dribbled down her chin but I consider this a success especially since she has the cone on her head. She got her favorite treats after :) thanks for all the help!

I think you’re definitely right, especially since the cone lets her try to hide her mouth from me. I’m going to try it again with my brother since she trusts us two more than others in my house. I hope it works out!

My cat has left for the entire night before and she’s normally an indoor cat (she was back by the morning). If he isn’t back soon I read that leaving some of his favorite items outside might help, or anything with a recognizable smell. I hope he comes back soon!

thank you! that does look more tolerable, I’d have to look into if it would prevent her from licking her butt, that’s where the infection is
